The Technician – Utility (Mechanical) is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of utility equipment such as pumps, RO water systems, air compressors, external lighting systems, and other utility-related facilities to ensure smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility equipment including pumps, RO water systems, and air compressors.
- Monitor utility systems and ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Inspect and maintain external lighting systems and related electrical/mechanical components.
- Record utility parameters and maintain maintenance logs.
- Identify and troubleshoot utility equipment issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for utility-related maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices in utility areas.
- Support installation and commissioning of current utility equipment when required.
- Assist in managing other plant utility systems as assigned.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, RO systems, and utility maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical utility equipment.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
