Job Title: Accountant

Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Experience: 3–5 Years

Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month

Qualification:M.COM. MBA Finance, Semi Qualified CA

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with 3–5 years of experience in a large manufacturing/trading organization with an annual turnover of at least ₹500 Crores.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function, including verification of vendor invoices.
- Review and validate GST and TDS details before processing invoices for payment.
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns.
- Coordinate with and handle Internal Auditors and Statutory/External Auditors during audits.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and ensure accurate asset accounting.
- Perform reconciliation of accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Handle large volumes of financial data with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare MIS reports and other accounting reports as required.

Required Skills & Expertise

- Experience in an organization with an annual turnover of ₹500 Crores or above.




- Strong hands-on experience in Accounts Payable.
- Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, and related compliances.
- Experience in GST and TDS return preparation.
- Ability to independently coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
- Knowledge of Fixed Asset Register (FAR) maintenance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- VLOOKUP
- HLOOKUP
- IF Functions
- AND Functions
- Pivot Tables
- Macros
- Data validation and handling large datasets
- Ability to work under high-pressure deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
