- Responsibilities
- Administration of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and any other databases throughout the development and production lifecycles in the Waltz environment
- Design and develop, logical and physical database designs from customer requirements
- Collaborate and provide best practice guidance to the development team
- Provide guidance as well as participate in the creation, modification, and implementation of database standards and procedures
- Create documentation of the database environment
- Collaborate with other DBAs and infrastructure team members to develop database deployment pipelines

- Responsibilities
- Understand and design applications using appropriate, relevant, cost-effective technologies
- Keeps up to date with relevant technologies enabling better application design
- Ensures transparent communication of design to all teams
- Partners with the onshore Infra architect, Application architect, database architect, as well as product owners
- Documents designs thoroughly
