Swastik Motors is a leading manufacturer of high-quality induction motors, serving applications in air coolers and washing machines. With a robust legacy in precision engineering and a focus on innovation, we are expanding our product range to include BLDC motors. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Executive to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to optimize cost and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and update sourcing databases.
- Collaborate with R&D; and production teams to understand material requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering,
Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement (preferably in the manufacturing or electrical components industry).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical components is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors.
