Job Description

As a MuleSoft Senior Developer, you will be responsible for design, development, Implementation integration Solutions and delivery of robust, scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. You will work closely with architects to translate High-Level Design (HLD) into Low-Level Design (LLD), guide development teams, and act as the primary technical contact for clients. This role also includes implementing GraphQL APIs and event-driven integrations, ensuring modern architecture practices are applied. It demands strong leadership, in-depth technical knowledge, and the ability to align development with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and deliver end-to-end implementation of MuleSoft-based integration solutions.
- Translate High-Level Design (HLD) into detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and customers to define integration strategy and architecture.
- Guide the implementation of GraphQL APIs and support hybrid models with REST and SOAP services.
- Design and implement event-driven and message-based architectures using MuleSoft and messaging platforms such as Kafka and JMS.
- Enforce coding standards, integration design patterns, and API-led connectivity best practices.
- Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Ensure security, scalability, performance, reusability, and maintainability across integration solutions.




- Support project planning, effort estimation, technical risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
- Act as the technical lead in client discussions, technical workshops, and solution presentations.
- Stay current with MuleSoft platform advancements and emerging integration technologies.
- Experience with AI-driven integrations, Generative AI, intelligent automation, AI/ML APIs, and integrating AI capabilities within MuleSoft ecosystems is highly preferred and strongly aligned with modern integration architecture initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in integration development, including 4+ years in a MuleSoft technical role.
- Expert-level knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design, DataWeave, Mule runtime, connectors, and API-led connectivity architecture.
- Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, development, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as JMS, Kafka, or AMQP.
- Proficiency in Java, JSON, XML, and integration protocols including REST and SOAP web services.




- Deep experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), ESB concepts, and distributed integration architectures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and validating both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, communication, team leadership, and client interaction skills.
- MuleSoft certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Developer and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect are highly desirable.
- Exposure to AI/ML integrations, Generative AI solutions, intelligent automation, AI-powered APIs, and integrating AI capabilities within MuleSoft ecosystems will be considered a strong advantage.
