Job Summary: The Science Lab Assistant supports the science faculty by preparing laboratory equipment and materials, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the lab, and assisting during practical sessions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and set up lab apparatus and chemicals for practical classes. Assist teachers and students during laboratory experiments. Maintain an inventory of lab equipment, glassware, and chemicals. Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals and specimens. Follow and enforce safety protocols in the laboratory. Clean and sanitize lab equipment and workspaces regularly. Assist in the disposal of chemical waste safely and responsibly. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum: Class 12 Science stream / Diploma in Lab Technology preferred. Prior experience in a school or science lab is an advantage. Basic knowledge of lab instruments, safety procedures, and chemicals. Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work under supervision.
