AI Product Manager
1. About the Role
The Product Manager will serve as the connective tissue between business strategy, customer
needs, and engineering execution. This is a strategic leadership role requiring deep technical
literacy, robust communication skills, and the ability to drive measurable ROI across the product
lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings:

2. Key Responsibilities
2.1 Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Own, define, and communicate a clear, prioritised product roadmap aligned with
company vision and market trends
- Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable quarterly and annual delivery
plans
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities
and threats
- Align roadmap priorities with stakeholders through regular reviews and ceremonies
2.2 End-to-End Product Management
- Manage the full product lifecycle — from discovery and user research through launch
and post-launch analysis
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
2.3 Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, QA, and
analysts
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and skill gap assessments to support
individual growth
2.4 ROI & Business Case
• Define, track,
and report on KPIs and business metrics to measure the financial
impact of product decisions
- Build business cases for product investments and present them to senior
stakeholders
2.5 Agile Delivery & Process
• Own and facilitate agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, and
retrospectives
- Drive continuous improvement in team velocity, delivery quality, and sprint
predictability
- Partner with engineering leads to evaluate technical feasibility and ensure delivery
commitments are realistic
- Define and enforce Definition of Done (DoD) and quality gates
2.6 Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the primary point of contact for product vision and delivery status across all
levels
- Run executive product briefings, roadmap reviews, and investor-facing presentations
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and business strategy for
engineering teams
- Manage expectations proactively — communicate risks, delays, and scope changes
with transparency
2.7 Go-To-Market & Launch Strategy
• Define and execute GTM strategies for major feature releases and product launches
- Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to align launch readiness and
adoption plans
- Monitor post-launch performance and rapidly iterate based on user feedback and
analytics
2.8 Customer & Market Research
• Conduct user interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback sessions regularly
- Synthesise qualitative insights and quantitative analytics into prioritised product
decisions
- Champion the voice of the customer across all product and engineering discussions
3. Technical Knowledge
While this role does not require hands-on coding, a solid working understanding of the following
technologies is essential for effective product decision-making, feasibility assessment, and
engineering collaboration:
Technology Expected Proficiency
React.js Component-based architecture, state management, frontend rendering
— write precise UI requirements and evaluate design feasibility.
Node.js REST API design, middleware concepts, server-side logic — assess
backend complexity and build vs. buy trade-offs.
MongoDB Document-based data models, indexing, and aggregation pipelines —
engage meaningfully in data architecture discussions.
Analytics Tools Proficiency with Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics. Ability to
self-serve data queries without engineering dependency.
API / Integration Read API documentation, understand webhooks and event-driven
architectures, coordinate third-party integrations.
Cloud Platforms Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure for scalability, security, and
infrastructure cost planning.
PM & Dev Tools Hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, Linear, Figma, Notion, GitHub issues,
and project tracking dashboards.
