Sepal Agencies is a leading manufacturer and supplier of thermal paper rolls, paper products, and printing consumables. We are looking for an detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, inventory-related accounting, banking transactions, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime and be capable of independently handling day-to-day accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
- Handle Production, Purchase, and Sales entries.
- Maintain the Cash Book and daily cash transactions.
- Record daily Bank Receipts, Payments, and Journal Entries.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation regularly.
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately.
- Maintain ledgers, inventory records, and accounting documents.
- Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss Statements and management reports.
- Prepare and file GST Returns within statutory timelines.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure statutory compliance.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in production and inventory accounting.
- Knowledge of GST filing and reconciliations.
- Positive communication and organizational skills.
