Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer/Engineer to produce scalable software solutions in the Payments Domain. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Mumbai (Malad West)

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree [B.E/MCA] or equivalent

Mandatory Skills:

- Very strong development experience with Java 4+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, Kubernetes, SQL database persistence frameworks like JPA and Hibernate
- Knowledge of OWASP security principles & PCI/DSS standards
- Ability to unit test and write secure, efficient code
- Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns
- Strong experience with iterative delivery using Scrum
- Robust experience in DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline
- Experience in test automation tools and development metrics
- Experience in ISO 8583 / ISO 20022 messaging standards and payment message parsing
- Experience in developing high TPS (Transactions Per Second) systems with low latency and 24x7 uptime
- Strong experience in integration concepts – API design, REST and SOAP principles, message-based mechanisms, authentication, and authorization models




- Good experience with application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat
- Experience in database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, including data modelling and writing complex SQL queries
- Experience with tools such as Git, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Product-based mindset towards software development
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, think creatively, and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to make decisions, provide direction, manage stakeholders, influence outcomes, identify risks/issues, manage technology debt, share knowledge, collaborate, create content, and mentor developers

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Good grasp of security best practices
- Understanding of domestic and cross-border payment concepts such as SEPA and SWIFT
- Strong understanding of Payment Switch architecture, transaction routing, and transaction lifecycle management
- Knowledge of card acquiring, issuing, merchant onboarding, settlement, and reconciliation processes
- Experience integrating with Visa, Mastercard, NPCI, RuPay, UPI, SWIFT, and domestic payment networks

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
