Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Draughtsman to handle checking and coordination of engineering drawings for static equipment. The role requires robust technical knowledge, leadership ability, and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and check General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings for:
- Heat Exchangers
- Pressure Vessels
- Columns
- Storage Tanks
- Verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;) for accuracy and compliance
- Interpret and work with Design Data Sheets and Mechanical Data Sheets
- Ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedules
- Check and validate the Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing
- Maintain document control and drawing distribution records




- Coordinate with clients to understand and implement project requirements
- Lead and guide junior draughtsmen for efficient project execution

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Qualification: I.T.I Mechanical Draughtsman
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Fabrication drawings and standards
- Pressure parts and detailing
- Good understanding of 2D drawings
- Ability to handle complete projects independently

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Oil & Gas / Chemical / Process industries
- Familiarity with ASME codes (Section VIII) and TEMA standards
- Leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and client coordination abilities
