About the Role

Ravishankar College of Pharmacy is inviting applications from passionate academicians and researchers for the position of Professor / Associate Professor for Pharmacy subjects. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to quality pharmacy education while strengthening the institution's research and innovation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver theory and practical classes in Pharmacognosy for B.Pharm and M.Pharm students.
- Mentor students in academic projects, dissertations, seminars, and research activities.
- Develop and submit proposals for Government-funded research projects and grants from agencies such as ANRF (formerly SERB), DST, DBT, ICMR, AYUSH, AICTE, UGC, and other funding organizations.
- Publish high-quality research papers in peer-reviewed journals and promote a strong research culture within the institution.
- Guide students in research methodology, scientific writing, and project execution.
- Maintain academic records, lesson plans, laboratory documentation, and assessment reports.
- Support curriculum development, examination duties, accreditation activities, PCI/University compliance,



and departmental administration.
- Participate in faculty development programmes, conferences, workshops, seminars, and institutional initiatives.
- Perform other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.

Eligibility

- M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy or any other pharma subject
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences with specialization in Pharmacognosy or a closely related discipline - Mandatory
- Strong teaching, mentoring, communication, and research skills
- Experience in research publications, grant proposal writing, or funded research projects will be preferred
