Job Title: Business Associate (Sales Executive)

Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Head

Job Summary

The Business Associate (Sales Executive) is responsible for supporting sales growth by developing customer relationships, generating leads, coordinating with production and logistics, and providing technical and commercial support to customers. The role requires a strong understanding of chemical products and market requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new customers in assigned territories
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up for order closure
- Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives

Technical & Product Support

- Understand product specifications, applications, and technical data
- Coordinate with technical and production teams for customer requirements
- Provide basic technical clarification to customers regarding chemical products
- Support product trials, samples, and customer approvals

Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Collect market information related to pricing, competitors, and demand trends
- Submit daily/weekly sales activity reports and MIS




- Update CRM or sales tracking systems

Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate with dispatch, logistics, and accounts for smooth order execution
- Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up with customers
- Maintain proper documentation such as POs, invoices, and customer records

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of chemicals and industrial applications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused approach
- Ability to travel extensively for field sales
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge preferred

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent chemical background
- 1–5 years of experience in chemical sales or industrial products preferred
- Freshers with strong technical understanding may also be considered
