Education

- B.SC / M.Sc. Geosciences (Geophysics)

Experience & Skills

- 5 Years as a Seismologist / Geophysicist
- Performance in Ms office, Surfer, and survey design and modelling software like OMNI, MESA etc.
- Data quality check using seismic data processing software like vista, Promax etc.
- Basic knowledge of seismic data processing.
- Valuable communication skills, Management skills and Inter personal skills.

Responsibilities / KRA's

- Provide pre-plots and survey guidelines
- Prepare models for exclusions and obstacles
- Evaluate post plots data received from survey
- Create and design project refraction and uphole survey
- Projects Experimental survey design, parameter fixing and approval from clients




- Generate the recording scripts for recording section
- Receive and analyse seismic data, OB logs, bin-out, daily test files from recording section
- QC the recorded data / results and interaction with client representatives for seismic data approval
- Communication of rejects / repeats / skips / recoveries to all concerned
- Final SPS preparation
- Check the geometry of recorded data against prepared SPS and rectify / notify errors if any
- Create Brute stack
- Prepare contract deliverables and data submission to client
