Technical Lead – MEAN Stack & SQL

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MEAN Tech Lead with robust SQL expertise to take technical ownership of enterprise People Management & Employee Delegation platform.

In this role, you will quickly ramp up on complex domain workflows, direct technical implementation, and lead a dedicated team of 4–5 engineers to deliver high-performing platform updates, optimize data architecture, and maintain overall application health.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Ownership & Knowledge Transfer: Take comprehensive technical handover of the enterprise platform, becoming the internal subject matter expert on system workflows and architecture.

- Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and manage a team of 4–5 full-stack developers through technical guidance, sprint execution, and code reviews.

- Database & Query Optimization: Architect, optimize, and maintain high-volume SQL schemas and MongoDB databases to ensure data consistency and query performance.

- System Health & Continuous Delivery: Drive technical excellence, enforce clean code standards, and ensure high operational stability across all application layers.

- Cross-Functional Alignment:



Collaborate with product teams and business analysts to translate complex HR delegation rules into clean technical specifications.

Technical Qualifications

Frontend & Backend Stack

- Angular: Expertise in modern Angular (v21/v22), including standalone components, Signals, Reactive Forms, RxJS, and state management.

- Node.js: Strong backend experience with Node.js (v22/v24 LTS) and Express.js, building performant RESTful APIs and microservices.

Databases & Architecture

- SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server)—including complex query writing, indexing strategies, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- NoSQL: Hands-on experience working with MongoDB (aggregations, indexing, schema design).

- Code Navigation: Proven ability to quickly analyze, debug, and navigate existing enterprise codebases.

- Testing & Tools: Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Jest), Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

Non-Technical & Domain Skills

- Rapid Domain Acquisition: Ability to swiftly absorb complex domain logic around organizational hierarchies, access control levels, and approval delegations.

- Mentorship & Communication: Strong leadership skills to elevate junior/mid-level engineers and clearly articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

- Analytical Problem-Solving: Structured approach to root-cause analysis, system troubleshooting, and performance bottlenecks.
