- At least 2 years experience in qualified kitchen
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation tasks
- Wash, peel, chop and portion vegetables, fruits and other ingredients
- Weigh and measure ingredients according to kitchen requirements
- Organize, label and store food items properly
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and storage areas
- Receive, check and organise deliveries and inventory
- Follow food safety, sanitation and kitchen safety procedures
- Clean kitchen equipment and preparation areas after use
- Work as part of a team to ensure timely and consistent product preparation and smooth daily workflow
