Key Responsibilities

- Edit videos for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Create promotional videos, advertisements, corporate videos, testimonials, event highlights, and marketing content.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, text animations, sound effects, background music, and visual enhancements.
- Perform basic color correction, audio synchronization, and video optimization.
- Collaborate with content writers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and the marketing team.
- Ensure videos are delivered within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Organize and maintain project files and media assets.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, transitions, effects, and social media content styles.
- Revise videos based on feedback and client or team requirements.

Required Skills

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing.
- Proficiency in one or more video editing software such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro




- Adobe After Effects (preferred)
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- CapCut (Professional)
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and typography.
- Knowledge of aspect ratios and video formats for different social media platforms.
- Good sense of timing, storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Robust attention to detail and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mass Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film Editing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Previous internship, freelance work, or personal editing projects will be an added advantage.
- A portfolio or sample videos showcasing editing skills is mandatory.
