Job Title: Quality Analyst – Health Supplements / Nutraceuticals Job Summary The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring that health supplement and nutraceutical products meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines. This role involves testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality checks and analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished nutraceutical products Perform chemical, physical, and microbiological testing as per standard protocols Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSSAI, and other regulatory requirements Maintain and update quality documentation, test reports, and batch records Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards Identify deviations, investigate root causes, and support corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) Coordinate with production and R&D; teams to improve product quality Handle instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV Spectrophotometer (if applicable) Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment Participate in internal and external audits Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in:



Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry Food Technology or related field Experience Freshers: Internship or academic project in quality control preferred 1–3 years: Experience in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or food industry preferred Skills Required Knowledge of quality control processes and testing methods Understanding of regulatory guidelines (FSSAI, WHO, GMP) Basic knowledge of analytical instruments Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Good problem-solving and analytical thinking Basic MS Office proficiency Preferred Skills Experience in nutraceutical / dietary supplements testing Familiarity with stability studies and shelf-life testing Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 22000, ISO 9001) Work Environment Laboratory and manufacturing setup May require shift work depending on production schedules Growth opportunities Senior Quality Analyst Quality Assurance (QA) Executive Regulatory Affairs Specialist
