Job Summary

The Prep Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the preparation section of the solvent extraction plant to ensure smooth and efficient processing of oilseeds before extraction. The role involves maintaining production quality, achieving process efficiency, ensuring equipment reliability, and following all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor preparation equipment such as seed cleaners, de-stoners, crackers, conditioners, flakers, and conveyors.
- Ensure continuous and smooth material flow to the solvent extraction process.
- Monitor process parameters including temperature, moisture, and equipment performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities or breakdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Minimize production losses and optimize machine efficiency.
- Maintain production records, log sheets, and shift reports accurately.
- Follow SOPs, GMP, safety, and food safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area.




- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and production targets.

Education

- ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Prep Operator in a Solvent Extraction Plant, Edible Oil Industry, or a similar manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of oilseed preparation and solvent extraction processes.
- Understanding of production equipment and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues.
- Basic knowledge of safety, GMP, and quality standards.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates from the Edible Oil, Solvent Extraction, or related manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Candidate should be well-groomed, possess a good personality, and be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
