SAP ABAP Core Consultant E Invoicing SAP DRC Vertex

Role Overview

SAP ABAP Core Consultant responsible for designing developing and supporting e invoicing solutions SAP DRC integrated with Vertex tax engine and government portals The role focuses on building scalable ABAP solutions to enable compliant realtime invoice processing across SAP modules FI SD MM

Key Responsibilities

1) ABAP Development for E Invoicing

Develop and enhance RICEF objects Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms related to e invoicing processes

Build custom programs for E Document generation validation and processing SAP DRC

Develop function modules reports SmartFormsAdobe Forms for invoice output and compliance

2) Integration Interface Development

Develop interfaces between SAP Vertex Government portals for invoice submission

Work on IDocs RFCs APIs ProxyWeb services for integration

Handle inboundoutbound invoice processing and acknowledgement handling

3) E Invoicing Data Handling

Implement logic for invoice data extraction FI SD MM

Map SAP transactional data to tax engine and regulatory formats

Handle validations error handling and reprocessing scenarios

4) SAP DRC Document Reporting Compliance Support

Work on E Document framework cockpit and status tracking

Enable invoice submission approval workflows and

Support integration with countryspecific e invoicing mandates and schemas

5) Enhancements Technical Design

Develop enhancements using

oBADIs User Exits Enhancement Spots

Prepare

oTechnical Specifications TS

oFunctional Specs support FS understanding

Ensure performance optimization for S4HANA





6) Testing Support

Support Unit testing SIT UAT and GoLive activities

Provide defect analysis and issue resolution

Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements

Robust SAP ABAP core development experience

Handson with

oRICEF objects

oBAPI BADI User Exits

oIDoc Web Services APIs

Experience in interface and integration

Functional Knowledge

Basic understanding of

oSAP FICO SD MM processes

oInvoice lifecycle billing accounting procurement

Exposure to

oE Invoicing SAP DRC compliance frameworks

oTax concepts VAT GST indirect tax

Good to Have

Experience in

oVertex integration tax engine

oSAP BTP CPI integration

oMulticountry compliance implementations

Exposure to S4HANA systems

Mandatory Skills : ALE-IDOC, HANA ABAP (CDS-AMDP-RAP), RICF-SPDD-SPAU-ATC Remediation, SAP CPI (Cloud Integration-APIM-Integration Advisor-Open Connector-Event Mesh-SAP CIG), WebService-oData-BRF

Experience

OVerall 9 to 11 Years and Min 6 to 10 years of SAP ABAP experience

Minimum 12 implementations in e invoicing tax integration compliance

Experience in S4HANA projects preferred
