We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Zoology Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in zoology, developing engaging course materials, conducting practical and laboratory sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and research activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Zoology.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory practicals, and field-based learning activities.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and research projects.
- Supervise student dissertations, internships, and research activities where applicable.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Engage in research, scholarly publications,



and professional development activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation activities, examinations, and other institutional responsibilities.

QualificationsEssential

- Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Zoology or a closely related discipline.
- Eligibility qualifications as required by the relevant higher education regulatory authority (e.g., NET/SET or equivalent, where applicable).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Preferred

- Ph.D. in Zoology or a related field.
- Previous teaching experience in a college or university.
- Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and modern teaching methodologies.
