Job Title: City Editor - FPJ Online

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Description:

The candidate should have a deep understanding and holistic view of Mumbai city & MMR regions, gather information, and write compelling stories that adheres to journalistic standards and ethical practices.

Should be able to cultivate and expand network of reliable sources.

Manage the Mumbai online desk comprising of writers and reporters

Maintain workflows for news filing, vetting and multimedia production.

Work closely with team of online and print reporters, Editor, photographers and other video team members.

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Proven experience in mainstream news media.

Strong command over English grammar and fact-checking information.

7+ years of experience in news writing, editing or reporting.

Should have knowledge in growing online audiences and possess analytical skills.
