- 6 Days per Week
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per hospital requirements.

Job Summary

The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the protected, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications, maintaining pharmacy inventory, providing medication counselling, and supporting quality patient care. The role requires adherence to NABH standards, Pharmacy Act regulations, and hospital policies while working collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualification

- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Karnataka State Pharmacy Council Registration (Mandatory).
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Experience

- Freshers and candidates with 0–3 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience may apply.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy, especially in psychiatry or multispecialty healthcare, is preferred.





Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Dispensing

- Review prescriptions for accuracy and completeness before dispensing.
- Dispense medications accurately as prescribed by the treating doctor.
- Ensure proper labelling, packaging, and storage of medicines.
- Verify dosage, route, frequency, and duration before dispensing.

Medication Safety

- Identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and duplicate therapies.
- Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions (ADRs) as per hospital policy.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of high-alert and controlled medications.

Inventory Management

- Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and consumables.
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) is followed.
- Assist in stock verification, stock reconciliation, and ordering of medicines.
- Maintain narcotic and controlled drug registers as per statutory requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
