Job Summary

Shankar IAS Academy is looking for an experienced and dynamic Academic Head to lead and manage academic operations at our Coimbatore center. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality academic delivery, mentor faculty members, monitor student performance, and drive academic excellence while maintaining operational efficiency. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee day-to-day academic operations.
- Plan and manage academic schedules, batches, and course delivery.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate faculty members.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus with quality standards.
- Monitor student performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Conduct regular faculty meetings and academic reviews.
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams for smooth execution.
- Develop study plans, assessments, mock tests, and academic calendars.




- Handle student queries, feedback, and parent interactions professionally.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and academic compliance across all batches.

Requirements

- Master's degree in any discipline (Education/Management preferred).
- 4–7 years of experience in academic management, education, or coaching institutes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience in faculty coordination and curriculum planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced educational environment.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in UPSC/TNPSC or competitive exam coaching institutes.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Student-centric approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to improve academic outcomes through data-driven monitoring.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
