Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of laboratory and industrial instruments at customer sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to travel for field service assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and demonstrate laboratory and industrial instruments at customer locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration support, and breakdown servicing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Maintain accurate service reports, calibration records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and OEM principals for technical support and spare parts.
- Deliver timely service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Conduct basic operational training for end users on instrument usage and maintenance.
- Follow company service procedures and safety standards during field visits.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–10 years of experience in servicing laboratory, analytical, or industrial equipment.




- Fresh candidates with strong technical knowledge and a willingness to travel may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage field service visits
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel frequently

Preferred Skills

- Experience with laboratory and analytical instruments
- Knowledge of calibration and validation procedures
- Experience in pharmaceutical, paint & coatings, research laboratories, or manufacturing industries
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in any of the following disciplines:
