Position: Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in **SolidWorks** and **AutoCAD**, with the ability to create accurate engineering designs, manufacturing drawings, and 3D models. The candidate should be proactive, technically skilled, and capable of working closely with production and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

* Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models.

* Modify and improve existing designs based on project requirements.

* Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility.

* Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.

* Ensure designs comply with company standards and customer specifications.

* Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation.





* Maintain accurate design records and revision history.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer.

* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory.

* Must have a solid understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, manufacturing processes, and welding symbols.

* Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Good communication skills in English and Tamil.

* Must own a two-wheeler for commuting and site visits, if required.

* Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
