JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Site Engineer – Civil

Qualification : Diploma in Civil, preferably BE Civil

Experience : More than 5 years for Diploma & 4 yrs. for Degree in Houses/Housing Projects in Gurgaon or NCR.

Location : Sites, Gurgaon

The person should have knowledge/exposure of the following –

1) MS Office especially good knowledge of MS. Excel, Word & Auto Cad

2) The person should have knowledge/exposure of the following –

a) IS Codes for Measurement

b.) CPWD Codes

c.)Delhi Schedule of Rates (DSR)

d.) Delhi Analysis of Rates (DAR)

The person should have valuable experience in following-

3.) Site Engineering & works-

a.) Should be able to plan, coordinate, execute, monitor & control the works as per desired quality, safety norms, drawings & instructions.

b.) Should be motivated & take initiatives for successful completion of assigned work/project.

c.) Should know the all civil works, like Excavation, Back filling, PCC, Concreting, Reinforcement Work, Shuttering, Brick work, Plasters, ATT, Water Proofing, Electrical & Plumbing Works, POP, False Ceiling, Tiling & Stone work etc.

4.) Quality – Should know the quality of works and Test required.



Should be familiar with check cards, pour cards etc.

5.) EHS – Should Know the EHS.

6.) Drawings – Should know reading of all drawings (Architecture, Structure, MEP, etc.). And should able to find queries in drawing and raise RFI.

7.) Time – Can make Time plan and monitoring of Time Plan.

8.) Communication – Coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors & internal staff. Making DPR, WPR & MOM etc.

9.) Estimation/QS-

a.) Understand the description of items.

b.) Estimation of quantities from drawings / Instructions.

c.) Making BOQ/cost estimates of Project/Work.

10.) Contract –

a.) Understand the contract conditions.

b.) Getting quotes & Making comparatives of Quotes with his/her recommendations

c.) Monitoring of Contracts wrt Time, Cost & Compliances.

11.) Billing –

a.) Taking Measurement from site & Drawings

b.) BBS making & checking

c.) Joint Records

d.) Reconciliation of materials (Steel, Cement & others)

12.) Documentations – Knowledge of all related Documents & its documentation.
