Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Extrusion Operator to run and maintain extrusion lines for the production of high-quality plastic profiles, sheets, or tubes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with extrusion machines, a good understanding of polymers, and the ability to monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure consistent output quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion machines as per production schedule.

- Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, feed rate, etc.) to maintain optimal performance.

- Feed raw materials (granules/pellets) into hoppers and ensure continuous supply.

- Monitor extrudate dimensions, surface finish, and material flow to ensure product quality.

- Perform in-process checks using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.).

- Change dies, screens,



and tooling as required for different products.

- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area, and follow safety procedures.

- Record daily production, process parameters, and downtime in log sheets.

- Coordinate with maintenance and QC teams for troubleshooting and quality feedback.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI / Diploma in Plastic Processing, Mechanical, or related field.

- 2–5 years of experience operating plastic extrusion machines (single/double screw).

- Good knowledge of polymers like PP, PE, PVC, ABS, etc.

- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and use measurement tools.

- Understanding of extrusion defects and corrective actions.

- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.

- Strong attention to detail, discipline, and safety orientation.
