Core Responsibilities

- Inpatient billing preparation: Generate detailed bills for admitted patients, including room charges, procedures, medications, lab tests, and doctor fees
- Charge verification: Cross-check all services with medical records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Insurance coordination: Process cashless and reimbursement claims with insurance companies/TPAs
- Discharge billing: Prepare final bills at the time of patient discharge and ensure timely clearance
- Handling payments: Collect payments, manage deposits, and track outstanding balances
- Documentation: Maintain accurate billing records and patient financial data
- Query resolution: Address patient or insurance-related billing queries

Administrative & Compliance Duties





- Ensure billing follows hospital policies and regulatory standards (such as those aligned with the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers)
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information
- Prepare daily/weekly billing reports and revenue summaries
- Coordinate with departments like pharmacy, lab, and nursing to capture all charges

Key Skills

- Strong numerical and accounting skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of hospital billing systems (HMS)
- Understanding of insurance processes and medical terminology
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
