Job Summary

ForPlanet Ingredients is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage logistics and transportation activities for raw materials and finished goods. The role involves close coordination with production, stores, and external transport partners to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of materials while maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute dispatches of finished goods and inward movement of raw materials as per production and sales requirements
- Coordinate with transporters, freight vendors, and courier partners to ensure timely and safe delivery of materials
- Prepare, verify, and maintain logistics documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and LR copies
- Track shipments and proactively follow up to ensure on-time deliveries to customers and inter-unit locations
- Coordinate closely with production and stores teams to ensure material readiness and dispatch alignment
- Handle transportation-related issues such as delays, damages, shortages, or rejections and ensure timely resolution
- Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives
- Maintain records related to dispatches, freight bills, transporter performance,



and delivery confirmations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, hygiene, and statutory requirements
- Support audits and provide required logistics and dispatch-related documentation

Skills & Competencies

- Valuable understanding of logistics and transportation processes
- Knowledge of e-way bills, GST documentation, and dispatch compliance
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and vendor management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
