Job Title: Final Inspector

Reports To: Workshop Manager / Service Manager

Job Summary

The Final Inspector is responsible for carrying out the final quality inspection of vehicles before delivery to customers. The role ensures that all repairs, servicing, and bodyshop work are completed as per Škoda standards, delivering a defect-free vehicle and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct final quality inspections on serviced and repaired vehicles before delivery.
- Verify that all repair and service jobs have been completed according to the job card.
- Check vehicle cleanliness, fit and finish, and overall appearance.
- Inspect vehicle performance, safety systems, warning lights, and essential functions.
- Perform road tests (where applicable) to confirm repair quality.
- Ensure all accessories, tools, and customer belongings are properly placed.
- Identify defects or pending work and coordinate with technicians for rectification.
- Ensure compliance with Škoda quality standards and dealership SOPs.
- Maintain inspection records and submit quality reports.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop quality.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in automotive inspection is an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience as a Final Inspector, Road Tester, or Quality Inspector in a passenger car dealership.
- Experience in a Škoda, Volkswagen, or other premium automobile dealership is preferred.

- Robust knowledge of passenger vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to identify quality issues and ensure corrective action.
- Good understanding of workshop processes and service standards.
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driving licence with confident driving skills.

Pay: ₹18,705.59 - ₹28,668.44 per month
