Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and curious Derivatives Executive to join our Trading Department. This is an entry-level position designed for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in financial markets. you will gain hands-on exposure to derivatives trading, market analysis, and the day-to-day operations of a quick-paced trading desk. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced traders.

Key Responsibilities

· Execution of orders in MCX commodity futures and options with precision and timeliness.

· Monitor live commodity markets, price movements, and economic developments impacting commodity prices.

· Conduct technical and fundamental analysis to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities.

· Develop and implement trading strategies aligned with market trends and defined risk parameters.

· Manage trading positions in strict adherence to predefined risk limits and exposure guidelines.

· Track global commodity markets, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical developments to inform trading decisions.





· Prepare daily trading reports, profit and loss (P&L;) statements, and market analysis summaries.

· Monitor Mark-to-Market (MTM) alerts and coordinate with the Risk Management team to ensure timely square-off of positions upon breach of loss thresholds.

· Ensure adherence to risk management protocols, including compliance with Additional Surveillance Margin (ASM), Graded Surveillance Measure (GSM), and related exchange guidelines.

· Support risk monitoring processes by maintaining awareness of market trends, trading volumes, and emerging risk indicators.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Mathematics.

· Strong interest in financial markets and derivatives trading.

· Basic understanding of options, futures, and capital markets (prior coursework is a plus).

· NISM - Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and NISM-XVI (Commodity Derivatives) certification

Mandatory.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with market platforms (e.g., NSE/BSE terminals) is a plus.

· Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
