We are expanding our operations and are looking for a energetic manufacturing leader to drive operational excellence in our polymer compounding and granules manufacturing facility.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Polymer Recycling & Compounding with strong expertise in polymer compounding, recycled plastics, extrusion, process optimization, production management, and plant operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, ABS, HIPS, GPPS, and engineering polymer compounds and be capable of leading large manufacturing teams while delivering world-class quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end polymer recycling and compounding operations.
- Manage production planning and achieve daily, monthly, and annual manufacturing targets.
- Optimize twin-screw and single-screw extrusion processes.
- Improve OEE, productivity, yield, and machine utilization.
- Reduce manufacturing costs, downtime, scrap, and process losses.
- Develop and optimize polymer formulations for recycled compounds.
- Ensure consistent product quality through process control and quality systems.
- Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores, Utilities, and EHS teams.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, safety, and statutory requirements.




- Support new product development and customer-specific compound development.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Technology, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of manufacturing experience in polymer processing or plastic compounding.
- Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in recycled polymer granules manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
