ROLE SUMMARY

The Skilled Middleware ETL Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Informatica and OBIEE serves as a senior technical authority for enterprise data integration and business intelligence infrastructure. This role leads architecture decisions, mentors teams, and ensures scalable, high-quality data delivery across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Architect end-to-end ETL and data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS
- Lead the design of OBIEE semantic models and enterprise BI strategies
- Define ETL standards, reusable frameworks, and data quality rules for the organization
- Mentor junior and mid-level ETL/BI engineers on best practices and technical skills
- Lead Informatica and OBIEE platform upgrades, migrations,



and cloud transition projects
- Drive performance optimization of ETL pipelines and OBIEE queries for large-scale data volumes
- Collaborate with data architects and CDO office to align ETL/BI capabilities with data strategy
- Manage escalated production issues and establish proactive monitoring and alerting frameworks

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 10-12 years of experience in ETL and BI infrastructure with deep Informatica and OBIEE expertise
- Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica MDM, and IICS
- Advanced proficiency in OBIEE RPD design, performance tuning, and web catalog management
- Strong background in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data governance
- Experience leading large-scale data migration and BI modernization programs
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Oracle DB, SQL tuning, and performance optimization

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience migrating OBIEE to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Power BI
- Knowledge of data mesh and data fabric architectural patterns
- Exposure to Informatica Axon or Enterprise Data Catalog for metadata management

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Informatica and Oracle certifications are strongly preferred
