Job Summary

Okiru Cafe, Jibhi is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commis Chef – II to support kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality. The role is ideal for candidates with basic kitchen experience who are eager to learn, follow standards, and grow in a café or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior chefs in food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, and basic mise-en-place
- Follow standard recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen as per food safety standards
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials and cooked food
- Support smooth kitchen operations during peak service hours
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist in minimizing wastage and maintaining cost control





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Understanding of hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Experience in café, restaurant, or hotel kitchens preferred
