Job Profile
- Holistic approach to patients needs.
- Part of inter disciplinary team to assess, plan and implement rehabilitation program in hospital.
- Liaise with other professionals such as doctors, physiotherapist, social workers, equipment suppliers, families & carers.
- Keep up-to-date with written and electronic records.
- Attend interdisciplinary case conferences.
- Monitor outcome measures.
- Use conventional therapy,
computer aided and robotic rehabilitation tools to maximize patient independence including A.D.L training.
- Contribute to analysis, planning audit and development of clinical services.
- Train students and supervise work of therapy assistants.
- Manage case load and prioritizing patient needs.
- Advice on home and workplace setting
Help in smooth community integration and return to work.
