Technical Lead

Lead end-to-end technical design and implementation of cloud-based applications and data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You'll architect scalable systems, build data pipelines with BigQuery, develop backend services in Go and Python, and mentor engineers toward delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and deliver cloud-native applications on GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Design and implement data pipelines and analytical workflows using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions.
- Develop backend services in Go and Python following best practices for API design and microservices.
- Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor team members on architecture and delivery.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring across the stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a lead or senior architect role.
- Deep proficiency in Go and Python for backend/data engineering.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform — BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, GKE.
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modelling, and warehouse design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code.




- Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building agentic or AI-native workflows.
- Familiarity with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure management.
- Background in Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing domains.
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring).
