Job Description for Project Accountant

We are seeking a experienced Project Accountant with a background in banking (retired professionals preferred) to oversee financial management, reporting, and compliance for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Understanding project accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

· Generating, updating, and maintaining reports on income, expenditure, and financial transactions.

· Creating and managing on-going project accounts

· Reviewing and granting funds for various projects

· Coordinate with project managers to track financial progress and risks.

· Handle banking transactions, fund management, and cash flow planning.

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and taxation requirements

· Keeping a record of project expenses, contracts, and other accounting data.





· Assist in internal and external audits.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience of 2 years to 5 years .
- Solid understanding of financial systems, loan structures, and compliance.
- Experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.
- Familiarity with project accounting or infrastructure/industrial projects is an advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Excel).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
