Job Summary

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer with 1 to 2+ years of experience to join our team.
WordPress will be the main focus of the role, so we need someone who is comfortable with more than just installing themes, using page builders, or uploading content.
You should have a good understanding of WordPress development, custom code, troubleshooting, and website maintenance.
Basic Shopify knowledge is required. Experience with Webflow, Wix, Framer, hosting, or website migrations will be a bonus.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customise themes, layouts, and website functionality.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress code when needed.
- Troubleshoot website errors, plugin conflicts, layout issues, and other technical problems.
- Make responsive website changes across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Work with page builders such as Elementor while also being comfortable going beyond page builder settings.
- Handle website updates,



backups, performance improvements, and general maintenance.
- Assist with website migrations, hosting, domains, DNS, databases, and staging environments when required.
- Work on basic Shopify tasks and theme customisations.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to bring website ideas to life.
- Use AI tools where useful for development, debugging, research, and improving workflow.

Skills & Experience

- 1 to 2+ years of WordPress development experience.
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP.
- Comfortable modifying WordPress themes and existing code.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues instead of relying entirely on plugins.
- Basic Shopify knowledge.
- Strong written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand project requirements clearly.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Knowledge of hosting, migrations, Webflow, Wix, Framer, Git, MySQL, or AI development tools will be an added advantage.
