Job Summary
Blackstone Group of Technology is seeking an experienced Tekla Modeler with a strong background in structural steel detailing and 3D modeling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on AISC standards and be proficient in preparing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, shop drawings, and accurate 3D Tekla models for structural steel projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
- Prepare (GA) drawings and shop drawings for fabrication and erection.
- Create detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings.
- Ensure all models and drawings comply with AISC standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, detailers, and project teams to resolve design and detailing issues.
- Review client drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Maintain project quality, productivity, and delivery schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Tekla Modeler in structural steel detailing.
- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures.
- Extensive experience working on projects based on AISC standards (mandatory).
- Expertise in preparing GA drawings, shop drawings, and 3D structural steel models.
- Good understanding of structural steel connections and fabrication processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on international structural steel projects.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection practices.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
