SMODI INFRASTEEL PVT. LTD. is looking for a dedicated and quality-driven Quality Engineer – Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) to join our manufacturing team and ensure the highest standards of quality throughout the fabrication process.

◆ Location: Rohad Industrial Area, Bahadurgarh, Haryana (Delhi NCR)

Position

Quality Engineer – PEB Manufacturing

Experience Required

◆ 3–8 Years in PEB / Structural Steel Fabrication Industry

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Key Responsibilities

◆ Conduct incoming material inspection and verification as per approved specifications.

◆ Perform stage-wise inspection during cutting, fit-up, drilling, welding, assembly, blasting, painting, and final dispatch.

◆ Ensure fabrication complies with approved drawings, QAP, WPS, and project specifications.

◆ Inspect weld quality, dimensions, alignment, hole accuracy, and overall workmanship.

◆ Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, and daily QA/QC documentation.

◆ Coordinate with Production, PPC, Design, Dispatch, and Site teams to resolve quality-related issues.

◆ Monitor painting quality, DFT, surface preparation, and coating standards.

◆ Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

◆ Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.

◆ Support client inspections and third-party inspections whenever required.

◆ Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility.

◆ DFT Measurement

◆ Reading GA, Shop & Fabrication Drawings

◆ Knowledge of IS, AWS, and relevant quality standards

◆ Quality Documentation & Reporting

◆ MS Excel / ERP

Qualification

◆ B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Production Engineering, or equivalent.

◆ CSWIP / Welding Inspection Certification will be an added advantage.
