We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T;) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) and associated paraphernalia
- Understand System requirements and Conceptualise the Baseline Design
- Perform Design Calculations per System Requirements
- Hand Calculations, Basic FE Analysis to do Preliminary Sizing
- Develop 3D Models and build assemblies using CAD tools
- Create Engineering Drawings per ASME Standards
- Create Documentation to meet Certification requirements
Must have skills:
- Positive understanding of Design tools for Aerostructural Design
- Basic Understanding of Aerodynamics and Behaviour of Aircraft Structure in response to Static and Dynamic Loads
- Fundamental Knowledge of Designing Structural Components
- Knowledge of CAD/FEA Tools like Catia/Solidworks, Ansys/MSC Nastran
- Performing Hand Calculations and Basic FE analysis
- Knowledge of ASME drafting standards, GD&T; symbols.
- Knowledge of Materials and Metallurgy
- Basic Understanding of Manufacturing Processes
- Should be able to communicate with internal customers on the technical requirements, be able to discuss, participate and negotiate in finalizing technical requirements and acceptance methodologies
- Good communication skills (Verbal and written communication skills)
- Good Problem Solving and Analytical thinking skills
Good to have skills:
- Knowledge/Experience in Product Design of Unmanned combat aerial vehicles.
