Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Radiation Oncologist to join our oncology team. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating cancer patients, planning and supervising radiation therapy treatments, and coordinating multidisciplinary cancer care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients requiring radiation therapy
- Develop individualized radiation treatment plans in coordination with medical physicists and oncology teams
- Supervise and monitor radiation therapy procedures and patient progress
- Manage treatment-related side effects and complications
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board discussions and cancer care planning
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and treatment records
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and clinical protocols
- Communicate treatment plans and prognosis clearly to patients and families
- Coordinate with surgeons, medical oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists
- Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental development initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
- MD / DNB in Radiation Oncology (or equivalent recognized qualification)
- Valid medical council registration
- Fellowship or additional oncology training will be an added advantage
- Freshers and experienced consultants may apply

- Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
- Good communication and counseling abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Familiarity with contemporary radiation therapy techniques and protocols
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based medical practice

- Participate in emergency oncology care when required

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: As per qualification and experience
Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per month
