Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive to manage end-to-end logistics operations for large-scale metal and mining projects in Africa. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling international and domestic shipments through sea, air, and road transport, ensuring timely delivery of project materials, equipment, and machinery while complying with customs, statutory, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities for project materials, heavy equipment, and spare parts.
- Manage sea freight, air freight, and road transportation for domestic and international shipments.
- Plan shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport vendors, customs brokers, and clearing agents.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (B/L)
- Air Waybill (AWB)
- Certificate of Origin
- Insurance Documents
- Import & Export Documentation
- Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation delays or logistics issues.
- Manage logistics costs and negotiate with transport service providers.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, project, and site teams to ensure seamless material movement.
- Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate logistics records.




- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company logistics procedures.
- Prepare logistics reports, shipment status updates, and cost analyses.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics Management will be an added advantage.

Required Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Experience in Metal & Mining, EPC, Infrastructure, Heavy Engineering, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Projects.
- Experience handling logistics operations in African countries is highly preferred.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of international shipping procedures.
- Experience in Sea Freight, Air Freight, and Road Transportation.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance.
- Experience coordinating oversized, heavy-lift, and project cargo.
- Vendor and freight forwarder management.
- Shipment planning and tracking.
- Cost optimization and logistics budgeting.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

- Experience working on remote project sites.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Africa.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and under tight project deadlines.

Pay: ₹9,096.29 - ₹100,000.00 per month
