Job Description – Head of Department (BCA/MCA)

Position:

- HOD (BCA) - 01
- HOD (MCA) - 01

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the academic and administrative activities of the BCA/MCA Department.
- Plan, monitor, and ensure effective curriculum delivery, examinations, and academic quality.
- Guide and mentor faculty members, promoting research, innovation, and career development.
- Coordinate student projects, internships, placements, and industry collaborations.
- Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, university, NBA, and NAAC guidelines.
- Oversee departmental planning, budgeting, documentation, and accreditation activities.
- Support admissions, student development initiatives, and institutional objectives.

Qualifications:

- BCA + MCA + Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Experience as per AICTE/UGC/University norms.
- Strong academic, administrative, and leadership skills.
