- Asset management:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of company assets, including acquisition, tracking, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories, such as equipment and software licenses.
- Ensure compliance with software licenses and contractual terms.
- Conduct audits to reconcile deployed assets with entitlements.
- Vendor management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and service terms.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and other key metrics.

- Ensure vendors adhere to contractual obligations and compliance requirements.
- Process and strategy:

- Analyze spending patterns to find cost-optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align vendor services with business needs.
- Create reports and provide data-driven insights to management.
Key skills and qualifications
- Robust negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in IT or business with a focus on vendor or asset management.
- Familiarity with asset and contract management principles.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and network infrastructure (for IT-focused roles).
- Certifications like ITIL or PMP are often a plus.
