The selected trainee teachers will be trained in Early Years Care and Education , a comprehensive one-year programme designed to prepare aspiring educators with the knowledge, skills, and qualified competencies required to excel in early childhood education.

During the training period, selected candidates will undergo a carefully structured curriculum that is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and has elements of internationally recognised best practices in early years education.

The training modules combine theoretical learning with extensive hands-on experience, enabling participants to connect educational concepts with real classroom practice. Through workshops, teaching demonstrations, observations, internships, reflective practice, and action research projects,



trainees develop confidence, creativity, and professional competence as early years educators. Upon the successful completion of all programme requirements, participants will be awarded a Diploma in Early Years Care and Education, accredited by a UGC-recognised university. In addition, trainees will benefit from campus placement opportunities, providing a pathway to rewarding careers in Chempaka schools.
