Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java + .NET Azure Full Stack Developer with a strong background in application modernization and cloud migration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience migrating legacy enterprise applications from IBM WebSphere Application Server to Azure Cloud, leveraging containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and contemporary cloud-native technologies.

The candidate should possess expertise in Java, .NET, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), IBM WebSphere, and application modernization to support large-scale migration initiatives and modern enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, assess, and modernize legacy Java and .NET applications for cloud deployment.
- Refactor and containerize enterprise applications using Docker and cloud-native best practices.
- Migrate applications hosted on IBM WebSphere Application Server to Open Liberty/Liberty running on containers.
- Use IBM Transformation Advisor to assess migration complexity and recommend modernization strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain Docker images and Dockerfiles for enterprise applications.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Develop Kubernetes manifests including:
- Deployments
- Services
- ConfigMaps
- Secrets
- Ingress
- Build, maintain,



and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Migrate enterprise messaging systems from IBM MQ/WebSphere MQ to Azure Service Bus and Azure Event Hubs.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java and .NET applications following cloud-native development practices.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders during migration activities.
- Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and governance throughout the modernization lifecycle.

Required Experience

- 6+ years of experience in Java and/or .NET application development.
- Strong experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server administration and deployment topology.
- Proven experience in legacy application modernization and cloud migration projects.
- Hands-on experience migrating applications to Azure Cloud.
- Experience deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Experience with enterprise messaging platforms such as IBM MQ and Azure Service Bus.
- Good understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices.
