Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Data Analytics function and team.
- Design and implement data analysis frameworks for institutional decision-making
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau / Power BI
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to understand data requirements
- Present monthly analytical reports and insights to the Hon’ble Chancellor and senior leadership
- Ensure data governance, integrity, and standardization across systems
- Implement AI and machine learning tools for predictive analytics and automation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights
- Mentor and guide Data Analysts for effective project execution
Educational Qualifications
- M.Tech. (Data Science) / M.Sc. (Statistics) / MBA (Business Analytics) or equivalent from a reputed institution or recognized university
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics / business analytics.
- Experience in handling large datasets and analytics projects and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- Exposure to academic/education sector will be preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau / Power BI)
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python / R / SQL
- Understanding of AI/ML tools and their applications
- Robust data visualization, storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to handle multiple projects independently
