Senior Windchill Integration Architect

Birlasoft is currently seeking a robust Windchill Integration Architect who enjoys interacting with both customers and peers to join our Extended Product LifeCycle Management (EPLM) Team. The Integration Architect will be involved in all phases of projects, from analysis of client’s needs to implementation, customization, and reporting on a variety of solutions. The Integration Architect will be dealing with large, high profile clients in the medical, automotive, and manufacturing industries and will be required to configure and customize solutions to the client’s complex needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to provide support along with strong technical knowledge.

The expectation is this person would have 12-17 years of experience with Windchill development.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Implement PLM project modules working as part of the team
- Solid understanding the PLM concepts, practices, and procedures. CAD, Assembly, Part, Bill of Materials,



Workflow Process, Release to Manufacturing, Revise, Change Management, Product Structure, Process Management, WC ESI (SAP/Oracle Apps Integration), Windchill Product Analytics, etc.
- Capture user requirements and document them (User Requirement Specification Functional Specifications, System Capture Worksheet, Solution Design, etc.)
- Experience on designing ESI integration, SUMA and Part Classification is added advantage
- Should have technical expertise in Windchill customization, integration/ESI/Webservice
- Proficient with the Windchill PLM data model and APIs.
- Documenting methods and lessons learned

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science and equivalent experience in the development industry

- Experience with integrations using ESI, Webservices, specifically with Windchill API

- Experience with ERP integrations preferred

- Web-based development experience (JSP, Javascript, MVC, Spring) preferred

- In Depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development preferred

- Database experience (Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus
