Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python and modern web frameworks.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support warehouse management, transportation, and supply chain platforms.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs, enterprise applications, and cloud services to streamline business processes.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend workflows for scalability and efficiency.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while ensuring maximum application uptime.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
- Develop and maintain database models, scripts, and technical documentation.
- Maintain application security, protect data integrity, and ensure compliance with established organizational development standards.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications.

Qualifications

Required skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Python development, preferably in enterprise applications, logistics technology, or SaaS platforms.
- Certifications (Preferred): Python Institute Certification (PCAP/PCPP),



AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, or other relevant software development certifications.

Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and third-party API integrations
- Valuable understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with ORM tools, database optimization, and query performance
- Experience with Git, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and deployment workflows
- Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management abilities

Additional information

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

This is a full-time, on-site role based at AWL India's Noida office within the IT department. The selected candidate will work on technology solutions that drive warehouse automation, transportation management, and supply chain visibility while collaborating with experienced development teams. Training on AWL India's platforms and development practices will be provided, with opportunities to progress into senior software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.
